ITC AWILA  PELLET  die is made of high-quality alloy steel or high-chromium stainless steel (German standard X46cr13). It is processed by forging, cutting, drilling, heat treatment and other processes. Through strict production management and quality system, the hardness, die hole uniformity and die hole finish of the production ring die have reached very high quality.

Why us ?
 

1. Both alloy steel and stainless steel ring die are all drilled by auto gun-drilling machines, so holes will be more smoothly. The max thickness ring die our machines can drill is 140mm(Germany deepth hole auto-drilling machines), and the minimum holes our machines can drill is 1.0mm.

2. Ring die raw material come from China No.1 steel forging factory, the using life can be enhanced about 10%-15%.
3. Advanced holes' designing, ensure the pellets can be made out smoothly, and special holes (row) arrangement, ensure the capacity can be enhanced 10% without broken.

 

A good pellet press die can improve product quality and output, reduce energy consumption (granulation energy consumption accounts for 30%-35% of the total energy consumption of the entire workshop), and reduce production costs (the cost of pellet mill die loss accounts for 25%-30% of the maintenance cost of the entire production workshop).Pellet dies must resist abrasion, corrosion from chemical exposure and breakage caused by the physical stresses of pellet formation. The optimum die combines high resistance to abrasion, breakage and corrosion with maximum productivity.
 
 
The difference between different raw materials :

  • 1. Alloy dies are the choice for many biomass processors because of their good abrasion and breakage resistance
  • 2. Chrome dies (less used )have superior corrosion resistance, making them the choice for processing operations involving corrosive chemicals
  • 3. Stainless steel dies have the best abrasion and breakage resistance as well as good corrosion resistance

WARM TIPS:
1.The rollers should be correctly adjusted, make sure the hole inlets are not damaged by contact with the rollers or as a result of tramp metal;
2.Material should be evenly distributed across the whole working area;
3.Make sure that all holes work uniformly, opening the clogged holes if necessary;
4.When changing dies, carefully inspect the condition of the die seating surfaces and fixing systems including collar, clamp or wear ring.
